I'm Malinda O'Brien, Owner, Interior Stylist, Professional Home Stager, AirBnb Stylist, Trained Senior Move Manager and Design Addict. I founded Malinda O'Brien Design with a mission of helping people love the rooms they live in.

My husband and I moved to Lake Lanier six years with our two English Goldens, Rudy (9 years old) and Healey (5 years old).  We also have a mini-Australian Shepherd named Cali. (I wanted another dog, my husband didn't, so we compromised and got a third dog.) 😀 Yep, there is dog hair everywhere!

The design "rule" I follow has always been

...live with what you love and you will have a happy home.  

Of course, I have other beliefs about design, but this one "rule" has been my guide in selecting products for my own home and clients.  I've been told I have a "knack" for mixing, layering and restyling, and I love mixing old with new and using pieces you already own.
